Xrobb l-Għaġin Nature Park

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre inaugurated at Xrobb l-Għaġin was developed by Nature Trust Malta, in collaboration with Ambjent Malta, with a €2.5 million investment co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. It features rehabilitation facilities for diverse wildlife, including marine, terrestrial and avian fauna, offering a sanctuary for their recovery before reintroduction to their habitats. An educational programme, led by Ambjent Malta promotes environmental awareness through school outreach, tree planting, and hands-on conservation. Activities at the park and Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre include guided tours and interactive sessions on biodiversity and sustainability. Ambjent Malta Nature Stewards promote the programme, while empowering all age groups to take an active role in protecting Malta’s natural environment.
