Urban Greening for Local Councils

Urban greening is defined as public landscaping and urban environmental projects that create mutually beneficial relationships between city dwellers and their environments. The “greening” of towns and villages leads to positive impact in several aspects, which include combatting air and noise pollution, soaking up rainwater that may otherwise create flooding and creating a habitat for local wildlife. Ambjent Malta conducts environmental projects with Local Councils in order to increase awareness and improve green infrastructure in urbanized areas.
